Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

ReplyDeleteWas great to finally have a chance to catch up with you. You've been busy. How are the plans going for the super duper party? You're already right? :-) Glad that better weather is headed your way. We've finally cooled down and even had a spit of rain. Literally a spit. Maybe even a mist. Took a walk with my Seth in the park yesterday and it was great. Fall is here. Hope all is well.
