Misty eyed


Once upon there was a first time mom.  She has just had her first son and thought that the sun rose in his eyes.  These are her first photos of him.  He is not even 24 hours old yet.




His dad thought he was pretty amazing too....


We could not stop looking at him, counting his toes, listening to him breath.  We could not believe that this little being was ours....


He was so beautiful.

Now he is turning 7 and we still think that he is just gorgeous.  I am such a lucky, lucky lady.

    Hello Allison,
    Such a gorgeous baby he was. So good to catch up with you. Sorry that winter is upon you. I know how much you hate it. Hey next winter you could come visit me and have lots of heat to soak into your bones. :) We average 100+ during the summer. We can go to Disneyland and the beach. So much fun. Just fly into LA. I have a guest house to stay in. We'll visit the really large sequoia trees.
    We've been following the world cup here as well. Soccer is not that big a sport here in the U.S. at least at the professional level. The "hornet/bee" sounds are very different. I guess it is some kind of horn. Lucky you to attend a live game. I'm sure the soccer players are glad that it's winter and not so hot to play their games in. :)
    Happy 4th even though I know you don't celebrate it. You could come visit during that time and we'll really celebrate.
